The Story
A single phulkari sprig rises from the hem — a stalk of counted darning blocks opening into two or three faceted blossoms, then fading to a bud near the ribs. The riot of the bagh, edited to one bloom on open ground. Warmth, union, the joyful threshold.
Darned by a women's phulkari collective, Patiala. Named, credited, and paid for hand-work no machine can imitate.
